A count who sits upon the Throne of Blood in the grand castle. He desires more blood for the Throne and more kin to serve him.
Domain: Love and Pain
Choose your patron’s basic gift:
When you deal damage, hold 1 pain. When you have a moment to rest, you can channel all your pain on yourself or someone else, healing 1d4+pain damage. If you go a day without dealing damage, lose all the pain you have gained.
When you take damage, hold 1 pain. When you have a moment to rest, you can channel all your pain on yourself or someone else, healing 1d4+pain damage. If you go a day without taking damage, lose all the pain you have gained.
Pain and Gain
In combat, you can spend your pain, 1-for-1 to:
• Block a blow meant for someone else. You take the damage instead.
• Disarm a foe.
• Free yourself from constraints or bonds.
• Increase the damage of one attack by +1.
Rain of Pain
When you hack and slash or volley, you may spend pain before rolling. For each pain you spend choose an extra target. Roll once and apply damage to all targets, but gain no pain for this attack.
Enough for Everyone
When you heal someone with your accumulated pain, instead of healing for 1d4+pain damage, you heal 1d6 damage per point of pain spent.
When you call upon the power of the Throne of Blood, choose someone you can see and deal 1d8 damage to them for each point of Pain you have, ignoring armor. This attack does not stop at your target - everything between you and your target, as well as everything directly behind your target out to Far range, is also hit. You create a gouging hole, piercing through everything in its path. The pain used is spent.
This can only be used once per session.
